Sprouts Farmers Market has begun a remodeling effort to allow more product space by raising the height of gondola shelves and adding freezer space, Deutsche Bank analyst Karen Short says. The company has increased its SKU count from 4,000 to 5,200, including Boar's Head products in the deli department. As a result of the effort, remodeled stores in the Phoenix market have seen a 2% to 4% increase in comparable-store sales.
