Leaders have daily lists of tasks and to-dos, but they should also have a list detailing the type of person they need to become, writes Mary Jo Asmus. Some leaders need to become better listeners; others might need to become more caring or more curious. "Every leader has something they need to work on to 'up their game,' and when they achieve that developmental goal, the next one is waiting close behind it," Asmus writes.
