Multichannel marketing, direct mail and social media were the big three factors in determining business-to-business marketing success in 2013, David Kirkpatrick writes. Multichannel marketing proved its usefulness best when channels such as social and e-mail were connected, not siloed, while direct mail was shown to be a key method to reach targeted customers as day-to-day e-mails continue to mount.
