Younger consumers around the world are increasingly found on mobile devices, and they are driving a 133% year-on-year surge in mobile's share of online video views, according to Ooyala. Tablet and smartphone video plays are expected to continue rising next year, "primarily because you can do it on your own schedule, in your downtime, on commutes, wherever," said Simon Jones, Ooyala's director of product marketing.
