Yang-ho Cho, chairman of the South Korean conglomerate Hanjin Group, is building a $1 billion hotel complex that will replace the former Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. It's expected that 11,500 construction jobs will be created during the project that is scheduled to be completed in 2017. The complex, which is on track and on budget, will feature 73-stories, including office space and a 900-room hotel.
