In England, a growing number of "all-through schools" are offering students the opportunity to enrol as early as age 3 and remain in the same school until they are 18 years old. Supporters, who say the schools could soon enrol students as early as age 2, tout the advantages of having students remain in the same school with the same group of teachers year after year -- eliminating what can be a difficult transition process as students become acclimated to a new school.
