Akili Interactive Labs and Pfizer have teamed up to conduct a study that will evaluate an individual's risk for Alzheimer's disease using a specialized video game called "Project EVO." The game will help researchers determine how distractions and interruptions affect subjects' attention, focus and decision-making, skills that are affected by neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. The project will use PET imaging to verify the results of the video game test.
