U.S. regulators are likely to attach conditions to a potential deal between Charter Communications and Comcast to acquire Time Warner Cable, but probably won't try to block it, according to antitrust experts. Charter is said to have asked Comcast to join its bid for Time Warner Cable. The government might want to impose conditions similar to those applied when Comcast took over NBCUniversal in 2011, said antitrust expert Jacqueline Grise of the law firm Cooley LLP.
