Apple has opened an online store on Alibaba's online marketplace Tmall, boosting the tech retailer's presence in China. The Cupertino, Calif.-based company already operates 10 brick-and-mortar stores in China and has its own e-commerce site. Tmall boasts more than 70,000 merchants and, along with sister site Taobao, is a dominant player on China's online retail scene.
