Beats Electronics is scheduled to go live with a fee-based music-streaming service, Beats Music, on Jan. 21, with early collaborations planned with AT&T and wireless speaker company Sonos. The service, which will cost $10 a month for access to a library of 20 million songs, offers the ability to download playlists to mobile devices and an intuitive algorithm that creates customized song lists based on listener preferences, Mike Snider writes.
