Distilled corn oil is gaining favor with the biodiesel industry as a feedstock, according to this video interview featuring Alan Weber of MARC-IV Consulting.
DCO made up 11% of U.S. biodiesel feedstock (excluding renewable diesel facilities) between January and July of 2013. Meanwhile, animal fats made up 14%, soybean oil made up 56%, recycled oils accounted for 14% and canola oil made up 5%.
