Parcel deliveries in China rose 61.2% in the first nine months of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012, and deliveries generated about $16.33 billion in revenue, according to the State Post Bureau of China, which says online retail accounts for about half the deliveries. The country doesn't have a dominant national carrier, and retailers including Jingdong Mall, Amazon China and Suning have invested in creating their own delivery services.
