Chocolate is consumed at least once a week by 58% of Dubliners aged 15-54, according to PML Group research. Chocolate tops sweets, which are consumed once a week by 34% of Dubliners, and crisps consumed by 46% as the snack of choice. When the research participants were broken down further, weekly chocolate consumption rose to 69% for those 15-24 years in age and 62% for all females. The participants also indicated advertising on posters was more effective than TV, radio or online ads.
