The legalization of private marijuana use in Colorado and Washington -- and the fact that several other states are looking into doing the same -- has contractor employers and safety directors getting out the message "[j]ust say no." They are concerned about worker impairment and workplace safety and are being advised by attorneys "to remind employees more often about company drug policy, federal law and the dangers of impairment." Some are also being advised to retain their drug-testing policies.
