Boys far outnumber girls who take Advanced Placement courses in computer science, physics and calculus, according to an analysis of data by U.S. News & World Report. The computer science exam had the highest ratio of male-to-female test takers. Tennessee had the highest percentage of female students taking the AP computer science exam, with 29% doing so in 2013, while no girls took the test in Mississippi, Montana and Wyoming.
