Students from kindergarten to fifth grade recently used Lego bricks to build numbers and math symbols at a recent Lego Club meeting at the Le Mars Public Library in Iowa. The librarian used the Lego numbers to quiz older students on math problems and help younger ones learn to recognize numbers for this month's program on math. "I usually pick a theme and then read a little something from a book and then have them create something to do with that theme of the book," said librarian Lisa Vander Sluis, who hosts the program every other month.
