Under a program launched with the support of the Frederick County Student Construction Trades Foundation in Maryland, students in ninth through 11th grades will be able to spend time learning about construction careers. Participating students would observe classes and meet with instructors at the Frederick County Career and Technology Center. "We would like to see all Frederick County students be 'dual completers,' leaving school with a marketable skill and be college or postsecondary education ready," said Frank Taylor, carpentry instructor at the center.
