Boston's SapientNitro has purchased Miami-based La Comunidad, the 12th biggest U.S. Hispanic agency, according to Ad Age. La Comunidad, which also has an office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, counts Time Warner Cable, Apple and Jim Beam as clients, among others. The purchase will help in targeting "highly-connected, influential cross-cultural audiences," which are becoming "the new mainstream consumers," said Sapient CEO Alan Herrick.
