San Diego-based Terramar Retail Centers has acquired Laulani Village Shopping Center in Hawaii for $99.5 million. The shopping center in Oahu's Ewa Beach, anchored by a Safeway, is 89% occupied. Grocery-anchored retail centers are part of Terramar's "aggressive expansion" plans, said Steve Bowers, president and CEO of Terramar. The company's portfolio includes 24 retail centers in California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Hawaii.
