Verizon Communications is bulking up its TV capabilities with the purchase of Intel Media, which created technology to deliver Internet-based TV content to any device. The purchase will "help Verizon bring next-generation video services to audiences who increasingly expect to view content when, where and how they want it," said Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam.
