Appsfire has developed OpenIDFA, a limited tracking tool with a built-in expiration date, as a response to Apple's recent initiatives to ban mobile application's improper use of Identifier for Advertising, or IDFA, methods. Last week, Apple began rejecting applications that used the IDFA but displayed no advertising. OpenIDFA will allow for conversion tracking and pre-impression event tracking while still abiding by Apple's rules for the technology.
