The city of Atlanta planned ahead to be better prepared when forecasters began warning of a second winter storm slated to hit the area today. Produce distributors across the Southeast scrambled to fill supermarket shelves ahead of the storm and figure out how to quickly restock after the worst has passed. "Even our major retailers are scrambling, trying to get products out. We're doing late deliveries for them and second deliveries to warehouses," said Diana Earwood, produce general manager for Sutherland's Foodservice and general manager of Destiny Organics.
