It got easier Monday for some travelers at 21 U.S. airports and two European sites to roam onto Wi-Fi networks with the rollout of Hotspot 2.0 technology after two years of development. Boingo Wireless introduced the free service at those sites for Apple's iOS users. The move could also help carriers offload traffic from busy cellular networks although that step will require equipment upgrades and formation of partnerships, analysts said.
