Bulkhead cracks found in the Marine version of Lockheed's F-35 fighter have been determined to be sufficiently serious to halt ground testing of the plane, according to reports. The problem may require redesign of the bulkheads, which in turn could push the plane closer to its contract-mandated 32,577-pound maximum weight. In addition, the Pentagon's testing office found the aircraft "wasn't sufficiently reliable in training flights."
