U.S. athletes took home several medals from the bobsled and skeleton competitions at the Olympic Games, and their success may have been due in part to deBotech, a carbon-fiber company in Mooresville, N.C. The business, which has 20 employees, typically works with NASCAR teams, but it got into the bobsled business before the Salt Lake City Games. "It's fitting, because we're a U.S.-based small business, living the American dream, producing home-grown, Made-in-the-USA goods for our Olympians," owner Hans deBot says.
