Voters in Fremont, Neb., will decide today on a controversial ordinance to prohibit landlords from renting housing to people living in the country illegally. The ordinance initially was approved in 2010, and many provisions have been addressed in court. "Everything we've seen so far indicates that it may be decided by a few hundred votes," said Ron Tillery, executive director of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce. "There are strong opinions on both sides of the issue."
