A YouTube video produced by students at R.A. Brown Middle School in Oregon is one of three that helped raise $50,000 for the nonprofit clean-water charity Thirst Project. In December, teacher Jeremy Corwin's 40 leadership students submitted the video through the online fundraiser Project for Awesome; the money will be used to build wells in Swaziland. "I'm so proud of our students. We tell them all the time they can make a difference in the world and I think it's cool they actually went out and did that," Corwin said.
