Sabre Labs and AT&T are working together to improve the travel experience for airline passengers using location data from mobile phones to develop insights about the 24 hours leading up to a passenger's flight. Sabre is combining data from mobile phones and AT&T airport Wi-Fi hotspots to create technology that might give airlines the ability to alert passengers when they enter an airport as to which security line is shortest, send mobile alerts for boarding groups or help locate passengers who have entered the wrong terminal, Sabre Labs' Sarah Kennedy Ellis said.
