A national licensing body would be re-established for registered agents and brokers who want to sell retirement products in multiple states, under a bill passed by the Senate. Under the act, agents would have to be licensed in their home states but would be permitted to operate in other states so long as they were members of the National Association of Registered Agents and Brokers.
