T-Mobile outpaced analysts' estimates by adding 869,000 new contract customers in the fourth quarter as revenues grew by 39% from the previous year and its total subscriber figure increased by 1.6 million, about 60% more than the previous period, the carrier said. The subscriber gains came at a cost: Losses totaled $20 million compared to $8 million in 2013 and the average monthly bill fell by 2.9%. Churn stood at 1.7%, a noticeable improvement from 2.5% a year ago.
