IBM has announced plans to put $100 million into its IBM Interactive Experience division that combines its digital marketing agency with data analytics and design marketing teams. IBM marketing services will add 1,000 employees and open spaces for IBM marketers to help clients with decisions such as which celebrity to choose as brand ambassador. IBM wants to "challenge the existing digital agency model, and target the CMO," said Paul Papas, global leader of the recently created division.
