American Airlines and JetBlue announced the end of their interline agreement for ticketing and frequent flier programs effective Monday. The agreements are typically used to extend carrier coverage without adding more planes to the fleet. "Through the merger with US Airways, American's network along the East Coast provides greater connectivity and customer benefits and there is no longer a need to supplement our combined network coverage with the JetBlue agreement," said American Airlines spokesman Casey Norton.
