Anheuser-Busch InBev is launching its new Johnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider on April 7, hoping to capitalize on the hard cider market that grew 78% at retail and in restaurants in 2012. MillerCoors made an entrance with its Smith & Forge Hard Cider earlier this month. Johnny Appleseed the legend "was more about the journey that he went on than the end game. That value set really appealed to our consumer," said A-B InBev Vice President of High-end Adam Oakley.
