A study in the journal Orthopedics found that patients who received foot and ankle arthrodesis using Bacterin's OsteoSponge bone graft achieved an overall fusion rate of 97.4% at six and 12 months after surgery. Patients also showed statistically significant improvements in pain scores at six and 12 months after the procedure, compared with pain scores measured before surgery.
