The Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Foundation for AIDS Research and the Health GAP Coalition are among the groups urging Congress to restore funding for the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The program has garnered bipartisan support and reaches some 6.9 million people in the developing world, says Matthew Kavanagh of Health GAP.
