California's electrical grid received 4,093 megawatts from solar generators Saturday, a record for the state. California leads the nation in solar generation, with 5,231 megawatts in total capacity. "California is making remarkable progress in not only getting new resources approved and connected to the grid, but making meaningful contributions in keeping the lights on as well," said Steve Berberich, president the California Independent System Operator.
