Hotel services for guests with disabilities have been improved as hoteliers sought to ensure compliance to the latest revisions to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Hotel reservations systems were among the first to be modified, now placing accessible rooms under a new type to ensure availability for disabled guests. The ADA has also mandated that at least 10% of hotels' rooms must include amenities for mobility- and hearing-impaired customers.
