The Federal Aviation Administration recently posted an article on its website with seven points it wants potential commercial unmanned aerial vehicle operators to be aware of. Titled "Busting Myths About the FAA and Unmanned Aircraft," the article says the FAA does control the airspace below 400 feet and that all commercial operators require a certified aircraft, licensed pilot and an operating permit. The agency also said it plans to publish a proposed rule for small UAVs later this year.
