The Food and Drug Administration has suspended the registration of cheese manufacturer Roos Foods after conditions at the company's Delaware facility were deemed a health risk. Under the suspension, which can be lifted when Roos Foods has rectified the risky conditions, the company cannot ship or sell its products. This is only the second time the FDA has exerted its power to suspend a food facility's registration since it was granted such power under a 2011 law.
