The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is constantly working to increase the reliability of the U.S. energy infrastructure as emerging technologies and changes in environmental regulations force the agency to adapt, said FERC Chairman Cheryl LaFleur. "Almost any energy issue comes to a balance between cost, reliability and the environment. Those vectors change depending on what side of the triangle you're pushing," she said.
