China-based O-office architects are currently renovating what used to be a printing and dyeing factory comprised of 18 buildings on 20 acres in the country. They are transforming it into "iD town," which is an "art district complete with studios, restaurants, hotels, administrative spaces and exhibition spaces." The architects will retain the concrete structures, adding new material to it that provides a "stark contrast to the aged concrete shell."
