Google's Summer of Code program, now in its 10th year, hopes to bring in over 1,300 student coders to work on open source software projects like Chromium, GNOME, WordPress and KDE. Students receive $5,500 in three installments over the summer if they complete their assignments. Applications will be accepted until March 21.
