Minnesota legislators have presented multiple deals to strike down the state's ban on liquor stores operating on Sundays. The measures to adjust or lift the ban are unpopular with some small liquor stores that say it would cause them to be open more to stay competitive, as well as with the Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association. "Eventually, we believe this ban will go away entirely. But to get us closer, we're offering a variety of options," said state Sen. Roger Reinert.
