Nasdaq is reconsidering whether to scrap, sell off or restructure FinQloud, its Amazon-based data cloud-storage system for banks and brokers, after the service struggled to win over potential customers. "If FinQloud is nixed or scaled back, it would be a blow to Nasdaq, which wanted to show it could use inexpensive cloud services in a manner that met all compliance and regulatory hurdles," notes Barb Darrow.
