A survey on how brands handle real-time social media communications reveals that 73% are planning "spontaneous" communications based on real-time events, but experts say doing so requires a change in marketing tactics. "[T]o be truly 'agile' and achieve the best results from real-time marketing, brands have to change the way marketing teams work," writes Christopher Ratcliff of Econsultancy.
