The technology industry got some advice on consumer privacy from an unlikely source Monday during a speech at the South by Southwest conference by National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden. Talking to a packed house using a scrambled Google Plus video signal, Snowden called on the technology industry to build privacy and encryption tools that rival solutions like PGP and Tor but come pre-installed and are as easy to use as Gmail.
