About 12 million 5- to 22-year-olds suffer a sports-related injury each year, resulting in 20 million lost school days and $33 billion in medical expenses, according to an HHS report released Tuesday. The report also examines the cost of treating common sports injuries as part of a push to encourage young people to sign up for Obamacare. "This is yet another reminder of the importance of getting covered, whether you're an athlete, a fan or, like so many of you here, both," White House spokesman Jay Carney said.
