Sustainability has been around for ages -- it just wasn't called that, says Tom Falk, the CEO of Kimberly-Clark. Since its foundation, Kimberly-Clark has planted more trees than it's felled in order to ensure a steady supply of raw materials for its paper products, Falk says. "It's only been in the last 10 years or so that the term 'sustainability' has come in to common usage. For the 130 years before that, Kimberly-Clark was just doing the right thing," he says.
