A powerful, low-risk way to negotiate pay in a job offer is to tell the employer that you are prepared to accept the initial offer but that you would like a little bit more money, Silicon Valley headhunter Nick Corcodilos writes. The strategy demonstrates that you are committed to the job and willing to make a concession, which may spur the employer to reciprocate, he writes.
