As strange as it may sound, you may become better at coming up with creative solutions when you're tired, writes Belle Beth Cooper. That's because when you're tired, your brain tends to wander off on potentially insightful tangents, she notes. In addition, research suggests you may be able to get creative juices flowing by working in dimly lit or disorganized environments.
